10 Things You’ll Never Regret Doing

1.      Doing it Afraid.  Courage means acting despite your fears. Fear can cripple you and hold you back. Freedom exists on the other side of fear, and acting in spite of fears proves that you can overcome fear. You will never regret refusing to let fear cripple you from living a fulfilling life.

2.      Leaving an unhealthy relationship. Whether an intimate relationship or a friendship, unhealthy relationships take a toll on your well-being and weigh down your spirit. In the long run, you will never regret making space for better and healthier relationships in your life and walking away from anything or anyone that undermines your self-worth.

3.      Deciding to make healthier choices. Starting a fitness journey is still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only am I more fit, stronger and healthier, I’ve learned incredible discipline that benefits other areas of my life and receive a boost in self-confidence as I meet and surpass my fitness goals.

4.      Forgiving someone who hurt you. Holding on to hurt, pain and anger can potentially stagnate your own growth and life. Consciously choosing to forgive someone and letting go of anger frees up emotional space and energy that allows you to focus on the good in your life.

5.      Sacrificing to reach your goals. One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books: “You can play now and pay later, or you can pay now and play later.”  Sometimes we have to make the tough choices that move us toward our goals.

6.       Making memories instead of buying things. I blog about fashion and beauty, it goes without saying that that I love things. . Yet the most beautiful and cherished moments of life are the time I’ve spent making memories with the people I love.

7.      Spending time with the people you love.  Our relationships are our most valuable resource, spend valuable time with your loved ones to keep your connections strong

8.      Making learning a lifelong process. Expanding your mind opens you up to so many opportunities to grow and change and become more well-rounded.

9.       Relying on Your Support System and Asking for Help When Necessary. It’s difficult to do life alone.  Your support system can help you shoulder and overcome some of life’s toughest challenges.

10.  Prioritizing Self-Care.  Give yourself the gift of self-care so that you can bring the best you to the other areas of your life.  You need rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, you will never regret giving yourself those things.
