RJ's First Birthday Party: Baby Shark

babysharkparents.jpg

We chose a Baby Shark theme for our son’s first birthday party. Of all the songs we have in our rotation, Baby Shark is his favorite by far. I keep it on replay, especially during long car rides. Hosted in our backyard, we celebrated with family and close friends.

Keeping with the theme, we wore shark family t-shirts, and ordered a cake with the themed decor to add to the birthday table along with a few personalized items that we purchased from Etsy. Of course, we added the Baby Shark song to the party playlist.

THE CAKE

We ordered a Baby Shark cake from Pinho's Bakery, which is local to our area. We chose a vanilla cake with lemon and strawberry filling. It was delicious! I ordered the cake topper from Etsy.

BIRTHDAY PORTRAITS

I captured this adorable photo of RJ as he walked with his Godfather. It’s clear to us that he enjoyed his birthday party; as he was in a happy mood the entire time

My brother-in-law got this shot of Baby Shark with Mommy & Daddy Shark. Victory! Baby Shark got Daddy’s sunglasses!

THE PARTY

The party featured music, food, lots of sweets, a bounce house (the older children loved this!) and a cotton candy maker. At the end of the party, we were pooped but happy! We’re thankful to our friends and family for celebrating our amazing baby boy, (who’s now a toddler!) with us.
