Girls Day Out: Afternoon Tea at the Baccarat Hotel in NYC

My best friend LOVES tea, so when she came to visit me this past weekend, we decide to do afternoon tea. Afternoon tea is a quiet leisurely affair that would give us time to talk, catch up and enjoy some much-needed uninterrupted girl time. I read previously that the Baccarat hotel offered one of the best afternoon tea in NYC and I wanted to see for myself. Afternoon tea is held in the Grand Salon of the hotel. It’s beautiful and decked out in crystals. Afternoon tea is a three course affair that consists of sandwiches, scones and sweets and your choice of tea . We both chose and loved the cacao chai tea.

We had a delightful time of afternoon tea. We loved the tea, desserts and service and also liked the complimentary mocktails that the server brought over to our table. We completed the afternoon with a champagne toast. What a great way to spend quality time with an awesome friend.
