Photoshoot Brooklyn Style: Midi Dress and Trench Coat

The moment my dear friend Duane, who is a photographer, reached out to me to do a photoshoot, I knew the direction I wanted it to take. I am told frequently that Taraji P. Henson is my celebrity look-a-like. Although I don't always see the resemblance, I adore Taraji and thought she was breathtaking in her recent Essence Magazine spread.  Inspired by the fierce self-confidence and sheer sophistication of the photos, I grabbed a Lulu's Midi Dress paired with a trench coat and heels. A couple of Youtube tutorials later, I completed my makeup before we hit the streets of Brooklyn for the shoot. I am really pleased with the final outcome. Here are a few photos from the shoot, Enjoy!
