I created a winter work style office lookbook for my youtube channel. Cold temperatures and the need to bundle up can send anyone in a style rut. I created this lookbook to provide some work wear inspiration that will keep you feeling warm and looking stylish at work this winter.
Read Morelove the start of a new year - the freshness, the promise of new beginnings, the excitement of great possibilities and turning a new leaf. Like a lot of people, I made a few goals for this year. For me, goals are more real when you write them down, so they have been written and available for me to review periodically in order to monitor my progress. For as long as I can remember, I created goals.
Read MoreAlthough I don't necessarily love frigid winter weather, I love Fall and Winter fashion, especially in New York, a city that I believe encourages and celebrates individual style expression. In the colder months, I love to express my personal style through layering, I can have fun with different textures, colors, and patterns, which is exactly what I did with this look. The outfit is a recent find from Zara. T
Read MoreThree and a half years ago, I sat in front of my computer, ordered a pair of sneakers, bought a few workout outfits and researched gyms in my area. I remember feeling excited, because all of these things marked the beginning of my fitness journey to healthy weight gain and increased muscle mass. I walked into L.A. fitness with very little knowledge about weight lifting, but I was determined to start.
Read MoreI've had these pants for awhile now and they are one of my favorite fun pieces to wear to work. Sometimes, my work outfits can begin to feel like a uniform and I love that patterned pants and skirts help me add a personal touch of flair to my outfits. Well, that’s not exactly how my life is at 32, and I am completely o.k. with that. My lifeis unfolding in beautiful ways both planned and unplanned.
Read MoreIt felt like the perfect crisp cool Fall day yesterday in Brooklyn. After church, we brunched at Piquant. I haven't been to Piquant in a few years, and wondered why I hadn't. Delicious food, affordable brunch and bottomless mimosas - I made a mental note to come here for brunch more often. After brunch we spent some time outdoors enjoying the cool Fall air. We then spent the rest of the evening at Weather Up, which has quickly become one of my favorite places for cocktails and conversation in Brooklyn.
Read MoreLast week I celebrated my 32nd birthday. Birthdays mean a lot to me and I usually take time to reflect on my life, my goals, and my desires around my birthday. This birthday I felt incredibly grateful, I feel incredibly blessed in too many ways to count, and I thank God everyday for that. I remember a time in my life where I felt pressured to meet certain milestones within a specific period of time.
